Message from Chairperson Dr. Rajya Malay
Dr. Malay moved to Topeka after finishing her training at University of Connecticut in internal medicine and cardiology. She is blessed with a wonderful husband, an adorable six year old son and a little girl on the way.
As a cardiologist, she had the opportunity of caring for many women of this community with different forms of heart disease. Women and heart disease is an emerging science and there is a lot more to learn in the future. She feels privileged to have this opportunity as a woman to increase awareness of heart disease in fellow women.
Together, we can work against the # 1 killer of women in the United States of America … heart disease!
